Housto, raises $7100 in 60 days for charity!

Thanks to Le Colonial, Bar Victor and Armando`s where Housto has been performing as a DJ to rock the crowd. The philanthropist DJ works part-time as a volunteer for Covenant House Texas and 100% of his fees are paid directly to the charity helping homeless youth in Houston.

Special thanks also to Rosie Meyers, client of Bar Victor for her generous donation! Using a series of promotion from the national organization of Covenant House Texas, Dj Housto was able to double and sometimes triple amounts paid for his volunteering which adds up to quite a sum, $7100 in 60 days, for a part-time philanthropist who has a full-time job!

Thanks to all who attend Housto's gigs. Your presence alone helps your DJ raise more money to help our youth, in Houston.

Covenant House Texas Thanks Housto for One Year of Donations

Leslie Bourne, Executive Director of Covenant House Texas, thanks Housto, the philantropist DJ, for one year of donations and efforts to support the homeless youth shelter located in Montrose. Housto creates the "OPEN HOUSE" music format and event series

Housto, the philanthropist DJ of Houston, is introducing the OPEN HOUSE music format which consists of House Music and spices of EDM. Of course, as always, Housto creates live remixes that surprises and galvanizes the crowds in order to provide a more memorable unique experience. A podcast entitled OPEN HOUSE 1 was also released this week to inaugurate the new sonic experience.

The new music format is designed for dancers and event goers who wish to hear new energetic music that does not play on the radio because it is not mainstream but yet very fun to dance to and melodic. This format adds up to the other musical experience already proposed by Housto which is the successful DECADES concept comprising Top 40 hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and today.

OPEN HOUSE is also the name of a new series of events featuring the music format. The first happening is co-promoted by Social Graces Social Club, Houston Young Professionals, MODE and Housto and is held at Sterling House in Midtown on July 9, 2017.
